The U.S. economy may not be growing as fast as we'd like, but most sectors are growing, with increased sales, production and hiring.That's the take-away from two modestly discouraging economic reports released on Wednesday by private-sector groups. The Institute for Supply Management’s nonmanufacturing index plunged unexpectedly in April, falling to 52.8%. Remember, any reading over 50% indicates that most firms surveyed said business had improved compared with March.
